Finally Back on Track


After an unexpectedly long amount of time hacking the Unreal AI path finding system to work the way I wanted to (resulting in a weird obscure bug that broke the teleportation code) finally gotten things fixed.  Finally, some level design work can begin. 

The plan is to have 3 levels; two levels that introduce the two core mechanics, and one final sandbox "immersive sim" level that tests your ability to combine the mechanics to reach the target without getting tracked down by the guards. 

Uploaded a video showing the teleportation working. I think it's pretty cool. The environment has no enemies, it's a basic level being designed for teaching teleportation so there's a lot of verticality. The dimensions are waaaay of, but this was like 15 minutes of work.
